Yes, DAMN that La patchwork. I ran out of ideas at 600 words.
Here's my idea of futuristic things, which UNFORTUANTELY is NOt RELATED TO PANDEMIC, the topic:

You are in a futuristic living room.
-Conveyor belts so if you step on it, you can be transported to the kitchen without using any energy.

RELATED to PANDEMIC:

-SARS medicine so if you step on it and jump up and down you will be transported to the kitchen.
-Conveyor belt so if you step on it and bang into the kitchen wall while transporting, you will be cured of SARS.
